We got to see our boy!

Warning the pictures are not pretty. Poor baby is tellling us "I uh ooooo" (I love you) and signing the sweetest OK when we tell him to close his eyes and rest. He is in FULL restraints since our little spider monkey managed to kick a nurse right in the chest eventhough she was way up by his head! He has great aim thanks to years of having to use his feet as his only defense.

Hugs all around... The pics aren't bad, you've prepared us well Leah! Glad everything went good, did he kick the nurse with his good hip? Little monkey...

Oh, poor little man. :-(

Question: Why couldn't they use the non-invasive new halo? I know you said they couldn't use a neck brace because he can move too much, but why wouldn't the new halo without pins work? That looks like it would be easier and more comfortable (somewhat) than a bunch of pins.

Praying for fast healing and minimal pain for your sweet spider monkey. :-) Hugs to you all!
